A Problem That Sparked a Purpose In 2005, our founder Diane was dealing with a familiar parenting hurdle—nighttime accidents. Frustrated by the lack of quality products that were both functional and comfortable, she took matters into her own hands. The result? The first-ever Brolly Sheet: a waterproof bed pad with a soft, cotton top that was easy to change and kind to skin. It wasn’t long before friends and fellow parents began asking for the same product. Diane realised she wasn’t alone—there was a genuine need for solutions that were simple, dignified, and designed for real life. Growing With a Mission What started with Brolly Sheets has now evolved into Independently You—a brand built around one mission: to empower people of all ages to live more independently, comfortably, and confidently.
