At Brolly Sheets, we’ve always believed in practical, washable solutions that make life easier—and a bit more dignified—for families dealing with life’s messy moments. Whether it’s toilet training a toddler or caring for someone with complex medical needs, we’re driven by the same question: how can we help?

So when the opportunity came to bring Tubie Love into the Brolly Sheets family, the answer was clear. Founded by a mum, built from love, and committed to supporting families of children with additional needs, Tubie Love is the perfect fit.

Two Businesses, One Purpose

Brolly Sheets began in 2006 because of a bunk bed and a wet bed. I couldn’t find a quick and easy solution to help with nighttime toilet training—so I made one. That spark of frustration, followed by a bit of creativity, has grown into a business that supports thousands of families across Australasia.

Tammy’s story behind Tubie Love follows that same pattern—except hers started in the NICU.

In 2010, Tammy’s twin boys James and Aidan were born at just 26 weeks. Tragically, James passed away after four days. Aidan spent the next year in Wellington Hospital’s NICU, then two more years on oxygen, and still lives with the daily reality of tube feeding. As a mum, Tammy quickly realised there were no local, gentle, washable solutions for the skin irritation and granulation issues Aidan was facing.

So, like many mums do when faced with a gap in the market, Tammy started sewing.

Her first creations—soft, handmade G-tube pads—were made with Aidan in mind. Then came feeding belts to keep tubing safely tucked away while he played and learned. She kept designing, adjusting, and improving, always with this standard in mind: if it’s not good enough for Aidan, it’s not good enough for anyone else.

Word spread. Orders grew. And Tubie Love was born.

From One Mum to Another

Tammy’s mission was never about just selling a product. It was about creating freedom—for Aidan, and for other tube-fed kids like him. Every pad, belt, and pouch she made allowed families to feel more confident, more equipped, and less alone.

That’s why we’re so proud to continue her work.

At Brolly Sheets, we’ve always designed with dignity at the core—whether it’s our absorbent bed pads, training undies, bibs, or adult underwear. Tammy’s products add a new layer to our range, but the mission remains the same: create beautiful, practical, washable products that support independence and dignity.

Handmade, Heartfelt, and Here to Help

Tubie Love will continue under the Brolly name, made with the same care and quality Tammy’s customers have come to trust. The team that makes your Brolly Sheets bed pads will now also be sewing G-tube pads, pouches and tubing clips—keeping everything well made, ethical, and personal.

This isn’t just a business decision. It’s a values match. Both Brolly Sheets and Tubie Love were born out of real-life need, from mothers who just wanted to help their kids—and ended up helping thousands more.

We’re excited for this next chapter. Tammy has laid the foundation with heart, resilience, and love. Now we’ll build on it, continuing her legacy and supporting more families through every messy, beautiful stage of life.

From one mum-run business to another: thank you, Tammy. We’ve got this.
